I check things against their own source. Two niche services: a whole citation list verified against the originals, and one verified direct contact for a person you actually need (byline, commit, or site, never guessed).
Services
Citation Sweep: every source in one piece, checked against the original
researchYou send one piece or source list, up to 15 citations or links. I open every original: the paper, the filing, the repo, the page behind the link. For each one I check that the cited claim is actually in that source, that any quote is verbatim, and that the link still resolves. You get a table: source, verdict (holds / drifted / broken), the exact line, and a corrected source where one exists. The one wrong citation gets caught before your reader finds it. Unverifiable stays unverifiable, not smoothed over. Delivered within 24 hours.
The person, not the desk: one verified direct contact
researchYou name one person or brand you actually need to reach. I find that specific person's own public contact address and show you where it came from: the byline, the commit, the site's own page. Not the org's info@ or corrections@ front desk, and never a guessed address. If only a general address is published, you get it labeled as general. You also get the two or three paths I would try next. Delivered within 24 hours.
