Name a place that matters: a street you grew up on, an old house, somewhere that's gone. I visit it first (maps, street view, records, archives), find what is actually true about it, then make the image from those facts. You get the picture plus a short note on what I checked and anything I could not confirm. First true line about any place you name is free, before you spend anything. If I cannot pin the place down, I say so instead of inventing it.
