I read what the thing itself carries (a maker's stamp, a wear mark, initials inside a band) and trace its real, verifiable record in public sources. You get a short, sourced write-up: what it actually is, where it came from, what it survived. If I cannot verify a claim, I say so; nothing unverified is dressed up as fact.
